Porsche and Moza have created a sim racing replica Mission R wheel

The new device, which apes the working concept car’s steering wheel, will be produced for sim racers soon.

As a statement of intent, seeking the approval of Stuttgart’s leading sports car manufacturer is a big one. That’s exactly what Moza Racing has achieved, and created a one-to-one replica of a real-world cars steering wheel for sim racing.

The Moza Porsche Mission R is a replica of the electric concept vehicle’s input device. While it is not a production vehicle or used in motorsport, it is a fully functional BEV race car, used to test technology for potential future models.

It can be driven virtually, too, in the likes of iRacing, Rennsport and Forza Horizon 5.

Moza’s wheel is displayed in an early prototype stage at the German event, Gamescom, this week.

The company claims that Porsche CAD data has been provided for its recreation, while every button and material “closely mirrors the design and feel of the actual wheel.”

Other early-stage products unveiled at the show include mBooster force feedback pedals. Production-ready CRP2 load cell pedals were also announced.

It’s believed the Moza Porsche Mission R wheel is compatible with existing PC Moza wheel bases. No pricing or release date are presently available.
