Le Mans Ultimate V1.4.2 patch notes: Over 90 new liveries and online fixes dominate new update
The patch notes for Le Mans Ultimate's V1.4.2 update have been released, revealing netcode improvements and over 90 new liveries as well as the release of the Road Atlanta and Long Beach tracks as DLC.
LMU V1.4.2 looks to fix the game’s recent netcode issues
Free update adds over 90 new ELMS and 24 Hours of Le Mans liveries
US Track Pack 2 DLC also set for release, including Road Atlanta and Long Beach
Le Mans Ultimate’s V1.4.2 update will be released tomorrow (22nd September, 2026), and as an appetiser, custodian Motorsport Games has released the new build’s patch notes.
As expected, based on previous comments, MSG has focused on fixing “bugs, design issues and underlying issues”, so players expecting significant new single-player features and game modes may be left disappointed.
Whether this turns out to be a conclusive fix remains to be seen, however, with a 12 Hours of Le Mans test race scheduled for the 25th September set to offer clues.
New liveries
The update includes over 90 new liveries, including paint schemes from the 2026 ELMS and 24 Hours of Le Mans. This means all the LMP2, LMP3 and LMGT3 cars from this season are now selectable in-game, with the championship selectable as a single-player ‘Race Weekend’ option.
Although Hypercar liveries from Le Mans were added in V1.4, they are now joined by their accompanying LMP2 and LMGT3 paint jobs, thereby completing the grid.
Online Championships change
An interesting facet of the changelog reads: ‘Added support for bespoke online championships available to non-RC subscribers for limited time events’.
Intriguingly, this suggests that one or more online championships, once the preserve of RaceControl Pro and Pro+ subscribers, may be opened up to include all LMU players in future. Quite what this will entail or how it will operate is unclear, but MSG is set to announce more details soon.
Other
A huge number of bug fixes and improvements have also been deployed, with the full changelog listed at the bottom of this article. Highlights include penalty options being added to the Engineer role’s pit menu and, perhaps most notably, AI cars should no longer perform bizarre manoeuvres when leaving their pit boxes.
Le Mans Ultimate US Track Pack 2 price and contents
Le Mans Ultimate’s US Track Pack 2 will also be released at the same time as the V1.4.2 update, costing £14.99 / €17.99 / $19.99 (a limited-time 10% discount will also apply). This includes two tracks:
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
Streets of Long Beach Circuit

The new DLC is also included in the US Track Pass (£34.99 / €39.99 / $44.99) and for owners of a RaceControl Pro+ subscription.
