Well, not now, but soon. And when we say ‘soon’, we don’t know when.
But, Assetto Corsa EVO’s free roam mode will arrive in the next game update, version 0.10.
This mode, where players can explore the Eifel region surrounding the Nürburgring Nordschleife, has been the lynchpin of EVO’s roll-out.
Teased in the sim racing title’s very first trailers, before an unveil soon after, a highly-detailed recreation of the German region is expected for single-player and multiplayer exploration. This applies to on and off-road, too, with NPC traffic (set to offer scalable levels).
EVO’s last update, 0.90, arrived just under one month ago, in late August. 0.8 arrived in July and 0.7, which started modding, in June.

Im gonna guess, going by their track record with this game, its going to be too little too late. And then saying this is the ‘first iteration” leads me to believe that its going to be half baked and they are just continuing to disrespect their fans by pushing out a big nothing burger to try pushing holiday sales.
Also considering a big part of the free roam revolved around the xp and economy systems that they of course removed its just going to be more broken, empty promises as usual with kunos.
Will be interesting to see what form this actually takes. I suspect it’s just going to be an empty map.

Who cares 🤷 bring back development on the original career idea with the economy! There’s already a million boring pvp racing games. Giving up on the original game idea was wild and I doubt I’ll buy another kunos game. I passed on AC rally, even though it looks good cause I don’t trust these fools anymore. I bought ACE day one and got scammed hard

Version zero point ten… ? Shouldnt this be version one point zero?
In developer parlance, V0.10 comes after V0.9, so theoretically AC EVO could be in Early Access for quite a while yet!
