It turns out that a new vehicle is also on the way for racing simulator platform rFactor 2, following a new UI and the Daytona circuit – the Ligier JS P320 LMP3.

A blog post by developer Studio 397 has shown the new addition for the first time, the mid-engine 5.6-litre V8 prototype being driven around Sebring.

The marks the second LMP3 category of vehicle for rFactor 2, sitting alongside the existing Norma M30, used in the recent Le Mans Virtual Cup.

The JS P320 won the LMP3 class at the 2022 IMSA Daytona 24 Hours in the hands of Gar Robinson, Felipe Fraga, Kay van Berlo and Michael Cooper.

This new car will be available on Monday 7th February in what’s turning out to be a busy time for rFactor 2 fans.
