F1 25 new features

First introduced in F1 2021, Braking Point is returning to F1 25. Whereas the career mode is based on the real-world championship featuring the official drivers and teams, Braking Point is a story mode where you take on the role of a fictional driver.

Braking Point was last seen in F1 23, with returning characters Aiden Jackson and the perpetually punchable Devon Butler racing as teammates for the Konnersport Racing team, a fictional eleventh team on the grid.

Codemasters has previously confirmed that the story mode is a bi-yearly headline feature, so it comes as no surprise that Braking Point is returning in F1 25 with a new story.

Briefly showcased in the reveal trailer, Braking Point 3 continues the story with returning characters encountering a “dramatic event” and an increased number of difficulty options.

Alongside the new Braking Point story, My Team is getting its most “significant overhaul” since it was introduced in F1 2020. Several tracks have also been laser-scanned for increased accuracy and feature reverse layouts fo rhte first time.

2025 promises to be an exciting and memorable season, with Ferrari and McLaren looking to end Red Bull’s dominance. Major shakeups will also see several drivers swap teams, with Lewis Hamilton moving from Mercedes to Ferrari. . Most notably, Lewis Hamilton is racing Ferrari, replacing Carlos Sainz who joins Williams, while Liam Lawson has taken Sergio Perez’s seat at Red Bull.

Naturally, F1 25 will reflect these changes with a revised team and driver line-up, though no new circuits are on the calendar this year.
