EA has officially unveiled F1 25, with this year’s game featuring a new Braking Point story, a revamped My Team mode and laser-scanned tracks. Like previous games, two editions are available to pre-order, including a standard and deluxe Iconic Edition. 

Here’s a rundown of F1 25‘s editions with everything included in the Standard and Iconic Edition.

Standard Edition

Featuring Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz and Oliver Bearman on the cover art, the Standard Edition includes several perks for those who pre-order. Bearman’s appearance marks the first time a rookie racer has starred on an F1 game cover.

This edition costs £69.99 / $69.99.

Iconic Edition

Whereas F1 23 and F1 24’s digital deluxe editions were called Champions Editions, F1 25’s is renamed the Iconic Edition. Lewis Hamilton stars in the cover art, proudly donning his red Ferrari racing suit, replacing Max Verstappen in the Champions Editions.

The deluxe Iconic Edition includes a host of extra perks themed around Lewis Hamilton and the upcoming F1 movie directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick). These extras increase the price to £89.99 / $89.99.

Release date

F1 25 will be available on May 30th, 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with early access starting on 27th May if you pre-order the Iconic Edition. Unlike last year’s game, it won’t be coming to the last-generation PS4 or Xbox One consoles.
