Mini Motorways coming to Switch in Q2 2022, syncs with Steam Cloud

Following on from Mini Motorways Challenge City Update back in December last year, Dinosaur Polo Club has revealed that its colourful puzzle game will be released for the Nintendo Switch at some point in Q2 of 2022.

Originally slated for a Q1 release in 2022, but held back for fine-tuning, the New Zealand-based developer has disclosed that the Switch version will synchronise progress with the PC Steam version of the game.

This means you can play Mini Motorways on your home PC in the evening and continue your progress via Nintendo’s handheld while on the go the next day. The Switch version will also see “a bunch of extra surprise goodies for you to enjoy” according to the indie developer, which is celebrating the game reaching nearly four million players.

Mini Motorways is a fast-paced strategic game about building efficient road networks in various simulated cities around the world. Balancing upgrades and the needs of your growing city is crucial to success and managing bottlenecks in your road network can be equally frustrating and satisfying.

In our review, we recommended gamers to ‘Buy Now,’ describing it as: “Endlessly replayable, beautiful to look at and featuring engrossing gameplay, this is another roaring success.”

With the imminent release of Mini Motorways to Switch, Dinosaur Polo Club has also revealed that extra items and features coming with the Switch version will also be added to the Apple Arcade, macOS and Steam versions of the game.
