With RiMS Racing releasing earlier this week, we thought we would take the BMW M 1000 RR 2021 around Suzuka not only in RaceWard’s latest creation but in Milestone’s Ride 4. Yes, both the motorcycle and the track are in both games.
For reference, the footage is captured in 4K on PS5 for both titles, using the native PS5 game versions and Time Trial modes. Assists are set to the default levels.
This isn’t a full comparison, just gameplay so you can get a taste for each game.
You can hear a distinct difference, both in terms of engine noise, tone and tyres interfacing with the asphalt. Likewise, you can see the different visual styles and track representations.
