New Achievements are coming to Forza Horizon 5 with Series 10

Just when you’d thought you’d squeezed out the maximum Gamerscore from Forza Horizon 5, more Achievements are on the way.

The upcoming Forza Horizon: Hot Wheels expansion will add a new diecast-toy-themed world, with new cars and challenges to progress through. When it launches on the 19th July, it will include 28 new achievements to aim for, totalling 500 Gamerscore.

But, an update for all Forza Horizon 5 players – regardless if they purchase the Hot Wheels add-on or not – will also add a further eight Achievements for 130 Gamerscore when it brings Series 10 of the Festival Playlist.

Three of these pertain to the Drift Club Mexico story that was added back in March. They are smashing a Pinata, completing the chapters and then completing the chapters to a three-star standard.

The remaining five are related to Horizon Open, essentially the game’s PvP online modes. There’s unlocking a Badge, completing set numbers of Levels and finishing races in specific vehicles.

Both the Drift Club Mexico and Horizon Open Achievements will pop retroactively for those who have already slewed their way sideways through the missions or competed online.

Meanwhile, the Hot Wheels-specific Achievements speak volumes about the scope of the upcoming expansion, with 10 new cars, multiple track sections and a suitably expansive Hot Wheels Goliath event.
