In somewhat of a surprise, a new story strand has been revealed for Forza Horizon 5, and it will feature a brand new electric drift monster.
Drift Club Mexico is the latest addition to the open-world racer, featuring six story chapters led by Welsh returnee, Robert Glenn.

Robert appeared in drift missions within Forza Horizon 4, and this marks his first appearance in the latest Playground Games-developed title. You will drive seven sideway-oriented vehicles such as the Formula Drift #98 BMW 325i 1989 and the drift originator, the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex 1985.
This will culminate in slewing through the streets of Guanajuato City in the Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Focus RS RX 2016, before switching to the mighty Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 – the only new car for this particular story.
The one-off beast uses seven electric motors for 1,400bhp and switchable all or rear-wheel drive. This latter feature will be in the game too and utilised in this mission specifically. The aerodynamic appendages help generate more than 2,300 lb. of downforce.
