After The Starting Line, Livery, Collector, Racer, Scapes, and Tuners, we finally arrive at the Gran Turismo 7 ‘Behind The Scenes’ video that features tracks. Throughout, we’ve had neon flashes teasing Deep Forest Raceway and Apricot Hill Raceway and so now it all culminates to this point where we see them in the game, right?

We do now know that the enigmatic series producer, who often ranks his favourite car as the Ford GT, now publicly admits to the Nürburgring Nordschleife as being his favourite venue.
“My favourite track, whether real or fictional, is the Nürburgring,” Kazunori Yamauchi explained in the recent video.
“Whenever I drive on the Nürburgring, I feel like I jump out of the world I usually live in, and into another totally different world.”
It’s hard to disagree that the fabled German venue is transcendent, there is no other place like it on earth.
As we ponder this otherworldly experience, we are treated to new footage of cars driving around the Nordschleife, such as a LaFerrari and a Bugatti Veyron. Expertly modelled it may be, Yamauchi touches on Gran Turismo’s laser-scanning process, but it’s not Grand Valley, is it…
Is this the end?
After seven ‘Behind The Scenes’ videos, is this the end of this particular video series? On the run up to the official launch, there has been a spate of leaked videos, however, this ‘Tracks’ feature was the final release so far.
We’re left wanting more – much more, but happy that there has been plenty to glean from these clips in a typical Polyphony Digital fashion. We’ll let you know when there’s more about Gran Turismo 7 ahead of its March 2022 release.
