How to complete the Forza Horizon 5 Flying Customs Treasure Hunt

Following the XBOX & Bethesda Games Showcase last week, Hot Wheels has been announced as the first DLC coming to Forza Horizon 5‘s Mexican landscape arriving on the 19th of July.

So, what theme is it for this month, I hear you ask? Well, Hot Wheels obviously.

The cars you can unlock this week is the Hot Wheels 2JetZ 2018 for 20 points and the Lamborghini Aventador J 2012 for 40 points.

As for the series itself, you can unlock the Hot Wheels Twin Mill 1969 for 80 points, and the Ferrari Dino 246 GT 1969 for 160 points.

FLYING CUSTOMS TREASURE HUNT

This season also contains a new Treasure Hunt Challenge named Flying Customs, with the clue “Stingrays can fly? Get your coins ready to get up high for a round complete!”.

This challenge can be completed by jumping into the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427 and complete a Horizon Arcade with the Air event. This may take a while to find if you’re unlucky but be sure to keep a look out for this event while completing this week’s playlist.

Once you’re lucky enough to complete a Horizon Arcade Air event in the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427, an orange circle will appear on the western area of the map within Dunas Blancas and to the south-west of the Horizon Baja Outpost.

The treasure chest is located in the middle of an oasis type area, next to the central rock. Finally, smash the chest to gain 10,000 CR and 3 points towards the season.

As of Thursday, 23rd June, the chest may be invisible, but hopefully this should be rectified in a within the season.

PHOTO CHALLENGE #MUDRUNNER

This week’s photo challenge requires you to jump into any Hot Hatch and head to the Horizon Wilds Outpost.

To easily find a Hot Hatch within your collection, simply go to the cars menu and press Y/Triangle to filter down a selection, and then scroll down to find the Hot Hatch option.

The Horizon Wilds Outpost is found to the south-eastern area of the map in Gran Pantano and to the west of Ek’ Balam.

Simply head to the outpost, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards.

Upon completion, the Tape Rewind Car Horn reward is yours. This can be equipped by heading to the cars menu in the pause screen and selecting Car Horn on the bottom right.
