It’s fair to say that Assetto Corsa EVO has had a rocky launch. While the driving physics are sublime, server issues are preventing access to core features like the Driving Academy and in-game economy.
Despite not having multiplayer yet, Assetto Corsa EVO requires an online connection, restricting access to single-player time trials and races when in offline mode.
Well, a new update has dropped, but it doesn’t solve Assetto Corsa EVO’s online issues.
It’s a frustrating situation, but Kunos says it is working on “updates to server infrastructure to enable online mode” that will be “arriving soon.” Hopefully, we won’t have to wait much longer to play Asstto Corsa EVO as it was intended.
While there’s still no online fix, Assetto Corsa EVO’s latest patch brings a raft of changes and improvements. Notably, there are fixes for the BMW M4 CSL’s ride height and launch control, along with improved audio, car reflections and optimisation for VR and triple screens.
