Moza will become only the fifth manufacturer to offer direct drive wheels for the PlayStation 5 when it takes the covers off its latest device next week.

A PS5-compatible wheel base by the Chinese constructor was confirmed as being in development in July when it became a partner of the Gran Turismo World Series competition.

Now it has locked in a launch date at the Tokyo Games Show. The event runs from Thursday 17th to Monday 21st September 2026.

A shadowed teaser image shows the front of the wheel base, with the official PlayStation logo. The device features LED light strips, reminding us of the recently updated 16Nm R16 Ultra base.

Moza also recently showcased prototypes of Porsche, Ford, Mercedes-AMG and MotoGP peripherals at Gamescom, continuing its rapid range expansion that includes entry-level bundles for PC and Xbox, licensed wheels, shifters, handbrakes, motion systems, truck wheels and flight simulation equipment.
