A new update has been released for Le Mans Ultimate, with the game’s Hypercars receiving a comprehensive overhaul of their tyre model.
The category’s new tyre model is apparently less forgiving than before, with a smaller margin for error at the limit of grip. However, players may notice fewer spikes in tyre temperature during high-load situations, potentially making for more consistent grip during a stint. Tyres also require more time to reach optimal temperatures and pressures, making out laps a more interesting experience…
LMU’s Hypercars have also undergone brake and traction control changes to reflect the new tyre model, with force feedback equalisation also addressed. The game’s flagship class has been given a minor Balance of Performance adjustment (alongside the LMGT3 class), with the strength of each car’s rear wing and suspension improved at the expense of engine reliability.

The autoblip function on LMDh cars has been enhanced, too, helping to discourage rear-end locking.
Developer Studio 397 has also released a series of wider game fixes in V1.2.3.0, including small track and car fixes; the full changelog is listed below.
