Aston Martin Valhalla set to appear in 007 First Light

You’ll need to earn your 00 status before you can drive the Aston Martin Valhalla in 007 First Light.

Aston Martin Valhalla set to appear in 007 First Light

The Aston Martin Valhalla was criminally underused in No Time to Die, with the concept version briefly appearing in the background during a single shot at MI6. Thankfully, it looks like the mid-engine supercar will have a more prominent role in IO Interactive’s upcoming James Bond game, 007 First Light.

Revealed during the Xbox Partner Showcase, 007 First Light will see a younger James Bond drive the Aston Martin Valhalla in one mission level. However, the announcement trailer teases that you’ll need to earn your 00 status to get behind the wheel.

Of course, being a James Bond car, the in-game version will be equipped with side-mounted machine guns.

“The reveal of Valhalla in 007 First Light marks one of the many steps our team is taking to honour the iconic cars that define the Bond legacy,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive.

“Cars have always been at the core of the James Bond experience, reflecting his style, ingenuity, and daring personality. With the debut of Valhalla, players will encounter a machine that embodies that spirit, capturing the excitement of Bond’s world and the timeless elegance of his vehicles.”

The Valhalla’s appearance in 007 First Light will likely mark its video game debut, at least in production form, with the concept car featuring in Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport and Asphalt Legends.

Limited to just 999 units and developed in collaboration with Red Bull Racing, the Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first-ever mid-engine plug-in supercar, powered by an electrified 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 producing 1,064 bhp.

According to IO Interactive, the Valkyrie is “one of many iconic James Bond vehicles” coming to 007 First Light. A 1970s Aston Martin DBS was previously shown during a mission set in Slovakia, featuring a playable driving section that culminates in a cinematic car chase.

Given the Aston Martin partnership, James Bond’s iconic DB5 will hopefully make an appearance too.

007 First Light launches 27th March, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
