After launching in May, 007 First Light has received its first free DLC update, which includes several driving missions starring the Aston Martin Valhalla.

Aston Martin’s mid-engine supercar appeared towards the end of the game’s story campaign but was restricted to a small area in Q Branch, with Bond using its machine guns and missiles to take out enemies. It also made a brief cameo in 2021’s No Time to Die.

Launching today (1st October), the free Extended Operations DLC update finally lets players get behind the wheel of the Valhalla in dedicated driving missions accessible via the TacSim training mode.

Set on twisty mountain roads in Slovakia, the Valhalla Protocol missions challenge players to take out targets with the car’s weapons and set the fastest time possible. The missions include four road layouts, including day and night versions.

Alongside the driving missions, the update adds a separate TacSim stealth mission in which players steal documents from a safe in the luxury Vietnamese hotel from the campaign, along with a photo mode and New Game+ mode.

For car enthusiasts, 007 First Light features several licensed vehicles and driving sequences, including a chase scene where you pursue a Jaguar XK in a vintage Aston Martin DBS in the same location as the Valhalla Protocol missions.

Following the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release, 007 First Light was originally slated to arrive on Switch 2 this year, but has since been delayed until March 2027.
