We’ve been hands-on with the upcoming arcade racing game Hot Wheels Unleashed, developer my Milestone, and we had a fun time – here are our initial driving impressions.
Playing quick races across 28 of the vehicles and seven of the tracks, there’s plenty more to be explored before this game releases, but it gave us a good chance to understand the level design, AI performance and handling prowess.
Hot Wheels Unleashed will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC on 30th September 2021. We played this early preview build, which is very much a work in progress demonstration, on a PC with a DualShock 4 controller (Xbox on-screen button prompts will be updated for the final version) and captured in 4K.
