It’s trending upward for our resident Traxion.GG Formula 1 driver Alex Gillon. After a tough outing in the wet weather at Silverstone, Alex rebounded for a respectable P5 finish in the Belgian Grand Prix.
Thankfully, championship rival Lewis Hamilton had issues while dominating at Spa, resulting in a DNF. That puts Max Verstappen as Alex’s main rival for the title as the season heads to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix. Alex is only 27 points ahead as the championship leader. With three races to go, scoring maximum points will be key to a title opportunity.
There wasn’t much on the upgrade side of things, but the Traxion.GG team is now the fifth best car on the grid, overtaking AlphaTauri. With ninth place power and first place ability, can Alex take advantage and use all of that straight line speed at Monza to his advantage?
With the pole position in hand and the right strategy in place, watch if Alex can find his way back to the top step of the podium. To take the chequered flag, he’ll have to beat Hamilton, Verstappen… and Daniel Ricciardo? The first turn may shock you!
