We’re down to the final four races in Alex Gillon’s F1 2020 My Team play through, and after an outing in the rain at Silverstone, the championship battle is starting to heat up once again.
No points could be had at the British Grand Prix last time, and with factoring in the lousy weather and the difficulty of the venue, it’s a blessing to still be leading the driver points. The constructors may be out of reach now since Mick Schumacher has still yet to score any points, but for a first outing for the Traxion.GG team, being in the conversation is almost unprecedented.
With a few major and minor upgrades across the car, we’re still sixth fastest on the grid, closing in on AlphaTauri for fifth, but for now, it’s time for the seventh race at Spa, the Belgian Grand Prix. Alex put a lap time down good enough for P13. Alex needs to get points this race to keep Lewis Hamilton behind, but with Hamilton as fast as he is this race, we’ll need a miracle to keep things in our favour.
