One of our favourite top-down rally driving games, Rush Rally Origins will be making its way to Xbox, and soon rather than later.
Following its launch on Nintendo Switch, Android, Amazon and iOS last year – and inclusion in our best racing games of 2021 – the rally nostalgia-filled title by two-person team Brownmonster Games was then ported to PC in April.
Now, it will be available for Xbox One, and also playable on Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
Rush Rally Origins is a driving game focused on point-to-point stage rally, either against the clock or side-by-side AI-controlled rivals. From a choice of two top-down perspectives, you then compete through a challenging career mode, enjoyably principally because of the attention to detail and moreish vehicle handling.
“The simplicity as a whole and laser-focussing on a superlative driving experience means that Rush Rally Origins is an ideal slice of rallying nirvana,” I said in our PC review.
It will be priced at £11.99/$14.49 and digital pre-orders are open as of today, 28th June 2022.
