RaceRoom to introduce new content drops every quarter

Following the release of today’s On The Edge downloadable content pack, the free-to-enter driving simulation will next receive a new GT3 car six weeks from now according to its creators, KW Studios.

This will be classified as an ‘intermediate’ release, that will arrive in between the larger themed packs arriving at the end of each quarter.

Platforms such as iRacing and rFactor 2 already deliver optional new additions on a three-month cycle, so now the RaceRoom team has followed suit.

Following this new timing strategy, the next pack announcement is expected around the end of June, while the intermediate releases can be cars or tracks.

The team is also committed to delivering updates to physics and the platform as a whole throughout the year. We’re looking forward to mid-May already…
