Livery Editor, 'The Basement' unveiled in Hot Wheels Unleashed Customization trailer

There has already been so much to get hyped about regarding the upcoming Hot Wheels Unleashed game from Milestone. We knew that the tracks would be customizable with the Track Builder, but in the new Customization Trailer that dropped on Thursday 9th September, we can now see the car liveries are as well.

A Livery Editor will be available for players to make their favorite tiny Hot Wheels Original or Real Manufacturer car their own. Pimp out your favorites Hot Wheels Originals like BoneShaker, or add the perfect look to the Audi Sport Quattro.

The release doesn’t say that the entertainment cars such as the DeLorean or K.I.T.T. are customizable, so I wouldn’t expect to be able to drive a pink Batmobile. I may be wrong or reading too far into it, but it could likely be a licensing thing if that is the case. Sorry folks.

There’s also a new level that was announced in the midst of it all. The Basement is a fully customizable space where not only can you build a track, but you can edit the surrounding environment. Players are able to personalize furniture and accessories across different areas like the living room and the kitchen. There’s even a pool table and an arcade machine included for every big kid that’s always wanted their own man or woman cave.

The title launches at the end of September on the 30th. It will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam or the Epic Games Store. Check out the new trailer below and let us know your thoughts on the new revelations in the comments section.
