Shown during the Automobile Club de l’Ouest’s annual pre-24 Hours of Le Mans press conference in France, the latest teaser shows seven different prototype car shapes.
We think you can make out the distinct looks of the Toyota GR010, Glickenhaus 007 and Peugeot 9X8 at least under the covers. What looks like a form of gameplay is also projected over the top, with the Porsche 963 and Ferrari 488 GTE clearly visible.
This would make sense, as these are the two cars playable within the game, developed by rFactor 2 creators Studio 397, at the now 100-year-old endurance race.
Following the teaser video, the title is also now on Steam and can be added to your wishlist. It has an expected release date of December 2023.
While the car list for the title is yet to be confirmed, the title’s owners Motorsport Games hold the licence to create an official Le Mans and FIA World Endurance Championship game so we would expect a generous offering.
For those visiting the Gaming Zone this coming weekend, expect to be able to test Le Mans Ultimate around Circuit de la Sarthe using Thrustmaster equipment, including the direct driver T818 wheel base.
