Over this past weekend (4th June 2022), Reiza Studios released their V1.3.7.1 update for Automobilista 2. While it’s been a couple of months now since the last new content dropped for the sim, these last few updates have been pretty big on physics updates for all of the existing cars.
Lately, Reiza has been working to implement all of their latest developments within their existing AMS2 content. The most recent update looks to focus on the existing Formula-style cars, while updates before that included GT-style, DPi-style, and a host of other race cars on the service.
AI drivers have also been looked at in recent builds, looking to make the driving more realistic while also making them better suited for competition against human players in certain scenarios. While it looks like a lot, and it no doubt is a tall order from the dev team, there’s unfortunately not much to report generally for these latest updates.
I’ve gone ahead and reposted the whole list of changes below for AMS2 since their last content drop in April. Have you tried out the sim recently? Just two weeks ago, Simracing.GP added the sim to their servers, so hopefully that means an uptick in participation around the multiplayer aspects of the platform. Keep it pinned here at Traxion.GG for future AMS2 updates as they become available.
