Forza Horizon 5’s first Festival Playlist series for 2022 is coming to an end within the ‘Hot’ season, finishing off with a bang as the New Year’s celebrations are wrapped up, chucked into a cardboard box and plonked in the attic for the next year.
A new photo challenge and treasure hunt challenges are available for this week, both rewarding you with five points towards the season.
The cars available to unlock for this week are the Jaguar XKR-S 2015 for 25 points, and the Vauxhall Carlton 1990 for 45 points. If you’ve been working hard for this series, you should have enough points by now for the overall Season Rewards of the Zenvo TS1 2016 for 120 points and the Ford Mustang 1971 for 200 points.
As for the Treasure Hunt called High Five, this week’s clue is “You’ll need to get defenderously high to prove you’re five star rated.”
This can be completed by jumping into the Land Rover Defender 110 X 2020 and earning five stars in danger signs. We used the Mountain Top Danger Sign, however, it seems as if the clue doesn’t specify a single danger sign, so you should be able to use any.
Upon gaining the five stars, the red circle will appear at the southern point of the map, located in the La Selva area. A treasure chest will be located within and can be found inside the Uxmal monument site.
Simply drive into the chest, and 50,000 credits alongside three points towards the festival playlist will be yours.
PHOTO CHALLENGE #PARTYTILLDAWN GUIDE
Definitely the easiest photo challenge out of the entire season, this requires you to photograph any car at the Horizon Mexico Festival, the very first place you start your Forza journey.
After reaching the festival, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tapping A to snap the picture to gain the rewards.
Upon completion, the Fireworks car horn reward can be applied by pausing the game in freeroam, select the Cars tab, then Car Horn on the bottom right. From here, head to the Sound Effects tab at the top, and the Fireworks sound effect is readily available to be used, found within the Epic rarity.
SERIES 3 DRY SEASON #FORZATHON SHOP HIGHLIGHTS
This week’s rewards available within Series 3’s Hot season are two cars, a pair of boots and a car horn, alongside the always available Wheelspins.
Both cars within the shop are also available to be purchased from the Autoshow, however, it’s worth grinding the points for the Aston Martin considering it costs 1.15 million credits. The available items from the Forzathon Shop this week are:
- Aston Martin Valhalla Concept 2019 – 600 FP
- Gold Leather Boots – 75 FP
- Duck Quack Car Horn – 75 FP
- McLaren 600LT Coupe 2018 – 400 FP
- 1x Super Wheelspin – 300 FP
- 1x Horizon Wheelspin – 80 FP
FORZATHON WEEKLY CHALLENGE MID-ENGINE MADNESS
The final week requires a drive in the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 2020, as you take on two road racing series events, 10 ultimate air skills, and then reach 194mph. The car is easily able to complete these challenges without a tune, so jumping straight in without preparation is achievable.
That’s it for this week, but don’t forget that several of the Series 4 details have already been revealed.
