Forza Horizon 5’s Honda Fan Cup Tournament offers merch and cash prizes

Xbox-themed prizes, in-game Forza Horizon 5 items and cash prizes are all up for grabs in the Honda Fan Cup Tournament.

Featuring vehicles from the Japanese car manufacturer exclusively, players of the Mexican open-world epic can enter via start.gg and an official Discord server. The will be two tournaments, each with four qualifiers before a prize-deciding final.

The top three drivers from each qualifying session, consisting of free-for-all races with 12-player lobbies, will make it into a 12-participant final. This will then be made up of six races, with the highest combined score across every track winning.

The top prize is $2,500, down to $100 for 10th place in the final, with smaller amounts for top qualifying performances.

While the finalists will compete for cash prizes, all who participate could win an Xbox Series X Replica Mini Fridge, Game Pass tokens or custom Xbox controllers.

At some point in the near future, there will be a specifically Honda estival Playlist event too, which unlocks a Honda hoodie for your avatar.

Entry is open now, with the first qualifier in August with the second final at the end of October. The full schedule is below, as is the race format and cars for entry. Before entering, you must be over the age of 18 and live in the USA, Canada or Mexico. The finals will be broadcast live on Xbox’s Twitch channel.

All game settings will be controlled via an EventLab Blueprint.
