Formula Legends gets two DLC packs, 2026 roadmap revealed

Online multiplayer and steering wheel support will be added to the retro-inspired Formula 1 racer in early 2026, with 3DClouds also teasing an “officially licensed championship.”

Formula Legends gets two DLC packs, 2026 roadmap revealed

Formula Legends has received a bumper update to finish the year, bringing not one but two DLC packs alongside a host of gameplay improvements.

Priced at £4.99 / €4.99 / $4.99, the Early 2010s Season Pack adds two new cars inspired by real-world Formula 1 cars from the turbo-hybrid era, accompanied by new teams and drivers. Also included are new scenario events integrated into the single-player campaign.

The new Turbo Power Pack, on the other hand, features two new cars: the GoodJob Mi90 and Fyrex Early 70.

The livery and aero design suggest the Fyrex is based on an early 1970s Tyrell, though in reality it was powered by a naturally aspirated Cosworth DFV engine. As for the GoodJob, this car could be based on a mid-1990s FootWork. However, turbocharged engines were not seen in this era after the FIA banned them in the late 1980s.

Like other car packs released for Formula Legends this year, the Turbo Power Pack costs £2.49 / €2.49 / $2.49.

Since its September launch, five car DLC packs have now been released for Formula Legends.

Alongside the new DLC, 3DClouds has released a free update for PC, bringing several welcome new features. These include a new optional manual shifting option, a very easy difficulty setting, a radar for tracking opponents and an end-of race countdown timer once the winner has crossed the finish line. There are also new resolution options, including 8K for supported displays.

“That’s all for 2025, a truly memorable year filled with achievements, passion, and growth for Formula Legends,” said Francesco Bruschi, CEO of 3DClouds, in a press release.

“None of this would have been possible without the constant support, feedback, and enthusiasm from our incredible community. Thank you for being on this journey with us.”

Online multiplayer and steering wheel support coming in early 2026

Looking ahead, 3DClouds has revealed a roadmap previewing updates planned for Formula Legends in early 2026.

In February, an update is set to add steering wheel support and improve AI opponents.

After that, two themed DLC packs will bring a late 2020 season DLC and the first track pack in March. In the same month, Formula Legends will host a closed online multiplayer beta before its public launch in April.

Finally, May will see the launch of the second track pack and an “officially licensed championship” DLC, though details are being kept under wraps for now.
