This week’s edition of Dave Cam‘s POV of the Week has all the aesthetic of the Florida sunrise. Once again, Dave has loaded up on iRacing, taking on Sebring International Raceway in the early morning. He’s racing the Touring Cars, namely the Hyundai Elantra N TC, against a field of other included TCs.
Starting as far back as possible, which happens to be a seventh place start in a field of nine, Dave is focused on getting back his Safety Rating today. No incidents, no on-track scuffles, just clean, incident-free action around all 17 corners of the the 3.7-mile, 5.95-kilometer venue.
Dave’s wheel rim this week is a Simucube Tahko GT-21, clearly identified by that orange stainless steel plating in the center. More of a circular one, Dave will be able to handle the front wheel drive of the Touring Car class a little easier.
This season, Dave has taken on the C9 at Le Mans in the rain on Assetto Corsa, the GT4 at Daytona under the lights, the NASCAR trucks at Talladega, a Porsche Cup race at Monza, and last week, Skip Barbers at Barber Motorsports Park, the four latest POVs all on iRacing.
Dave’s goal today, if he can keep it clean, is a podium finish. Can he succeed? Be sure to stick around and find out! Check out all of Dave’s content on the Traxion.GG YouTube and website while you’re here. Are there any more suggestions for Dave’s next POV? Give us your ideas down below in the comments!
