  • New time trial competition set to launch in GT7 this November
  • Fanatec prizes up for grabs for top three drivers in each region

A new time trial competition is set to launch in Gran Turismo 7 next month, with the ‘Fanatec Gran Turismo Eifel Cup 2026’ offering a wheelbase or pedal set as prizes.

Featuring the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) ’22 around the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit, the time trial will run from the 2nd of November until the 16th, with the top three fastest drivers in each of the eligible regions – Europe / Middle East / Africa, Americas and Asia/Oceania – eligible to receive either a Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro (8Nm) steering wheel or a Fanatec Podium Pedals Sport set (Japanese competitors will not be eligible for prizes, however).

Once live, the competition can be accessed via the Online Time Trials menu within the ‘Sport’ pavilion on the World Map.

The time trial’s Porsche features a new livery taken directly from Team Black Falcon’s 2026 NLS car. The paint scheme was added midway through the season via a fan competition (won by cm.industry) and was used in the final few rounds of the championship.

Fanatec-affiliated sim racers Jimmy Broadbent and Steve Alvarez Brown drove the car, alongside professional YouTuber and Nordschelife specialist, Misha Cahroudin, with professional racing driver Manuel Metzger anchoring the lineup.

It’s though the Black Falcon livery will be made available to GT7 players at the conclusion of the competition, although this has not been confirmed.
