Here’s something different for all of you Dave Cam fans out there…

While we know Dave on this Traxion.GG YouTube channel for his iRacing prowess, one particular type of video resonated in recent weeks. For a couple of videos during Dave’s iRacing Combo of the Week series, Dave brought you on-board his point of view, outside of the computer screen where you could see what Dave was seeing, including his wheel, shifter, pedals, and triple monitor setup.

Dave’s taking that same concept and amplifying it for the next few weeks in what we’re calling Dave Cam’s POV of the Week. To kick things off, we’re getting historical and in the Le Mans mood. It is kick off week for the Le Mans Virtual Series, after all.

Dave won’t even be on iRacing today, although… how cool would it be if iRacing had the 1989 Sauber Mercedes C9, the 1982 version of the Circuit de la Sarthe, and, well, rain! All those factors, plus some AI drivers are included in Dave’s POV, this week utilising Assetto Corsa.

The heads up display is off, the camera is mounted atop Dave’s head, and he’s ready to put us all in the shoes of what a driver at Le Mans might experience in wet conditions at the famous venue, which by the way, in 1982, the course was faster and even more dangerous, hence why it was changed into what it is today.

If you’ve got any suggestions for what Dave should try in his next POV of the Week, let us know in the comments below! Be sure to check out all of Dave’s content on the Traxion.GG YouTube and website as well. Enjoy today’s leap back in time, but always remember to keep it pinned!
