The new season on iRacing has begun, and with that, a new series has arrived from Dave Cam on the Traxion.GG YouTube channel. This season, Dave is getting down with a piece of new content from 2023 Season 1‘s build, the free-with-subscription Toyota GR86.
The new car has it’s own brand-new official series on the calendar this season, the iRacing GR Cup Series. Over the next 12 weeks, the schedule spans a healthy mix of included tracks with some paid content sprinkled in as well. The series is open to all iRacers, and this season, Dave is going for the gold.
Unlike his previous series on the channel, Dave is attempting to start and finish as well as he possibly can in each race in this series. He’ll qualify and go for wins week after week, keeping an eye on the official standings throughout the process.
First up is a date with VIRginia International Raceway, which is currently the old venue, but will be getting an update later this season. The 3.270-mile (5.262-kilometer) venue with 17 corners on the full course moved to included content when the build switched over last week.
