So far, Project Motor Racing’s car roster is wonderfully eclectic, from Mazda’s Group C 787B to contemporary GT3 racers.
But one brand has been conspicuous in its absence to date – BMW.
However, according to a post by the upcoming sim racing title’s social media accounts, the Munich-based automotive giant is set for inclusion.
Celebrating 20 days until its release, a side-profile image of the marque’s M Hybrid V8 GTP/LMDh vehicle is used. The shot appears to be in-game, too.
The IMSA and FIA WEC racer will sit alongside an expansive class roster that already includes Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, Toyota, Acura and Cadillac for one of the largest hypercar representations in the genre.
Naturally, the premium car manufacturer’s presence could open up the car list to include further BMWs – while not confirmed, it does create cars that fit into Project Motor Racing’s other classes, such as GTE, GT3 and GT4.

The driving platform will release on 25th November across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. We’ve also compiled a list of every track confirmed, which is final, and every car so far locked in – with more expected on the run-up to launch.
