No, this isn’t a driving game, but you can drive within in, and that, apparently, leaves a window of opportunity for Laurence Stroll to enter the chat.
Aston Martin, the British purveyors of classy ‘super tourers’ (its words, not ours), will be entering the open-world battle royale genre through PUBG: Battlegrounds.
Following a teaser earlier today (1st August 2023), it appears that both the DBX707 SUV and limited-production V12 Vantage convertible sportscar are headed to the safe area. The trailer depicts the existing UAZ and Coupe RB morphing into exotic beasts.
Of note, neither vehicle is in a serious PC and console driving game, with Aston deciding to partner with the tactical shooter first of all. It follows the McLaren GT being part of the roster last year, meanwhile, the Rimac Nevera has been part of the spin-off title PUBG: New State and Polaris SXSs hit PUBG Mobile.
No firm release date is known currently, but we hope to find out more soon. The game is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
