A new update has been released for Euro Truck Simulator 2, with developer SCS Software adding a few new upgrades for its immensely popular driving title.

November is set to be a big month for the Czech studio’s flagship game, as the Iceland map pack will be joined by the much-anticipated Coaches mode, allowing players to roleplay as a bus driver. A comprehensive UK map rework is also in the offing.

Although a relatively small update, V1.62 implements SCS’s new improved materials system in the Iveco S-Way truck, allowing for improved textures and lighting in its cockpit.

Three special edition liveries for the DAF XG+ truck have also been added, with Emerald and Sapphire paint jobs complemented by a ‘30 Years in Czechia’ truck, adorned with unique cockpit upholstery options.

The Goodyear Tyres Pack DLC has been overhauled to reflect changes in the American company’s branding, while players will also now be able to choose from a range of refreshed garages in the new update, with prettier internal and external designs to pick from.

Finally, and just like in its sister title, American Truck Simulator, ETS2’s streamer-friendly radio station, Escape, has had its playlist tweaked to eliminate copyright strikes. 11 new audio tracks have been added as part of this process.

The full changelog for ETS2’s V1.62 update is listed below.
