Fanatec has unveiled an all-new GT3-inspired CSL Steering Wheel. Designed for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, it looks to be a direct replacement of the discontinued CSL Elite McLaren GT3 V2 (minus the McLaren branding, of course).
Measuring 300mm in diameter with rubber grips, the CSL Steering Wheel GT3 is a full-size rim that replicates the wheels used in GT3 racecars.
Fanatec claims that its premium features, including an OLED screen displaying the selected gear or current speed, along with rocker switches and encoders, “set the standard for affordability without compromise.”

Rocker-style paddle shifters enable one-handed up and down-shifting, while analogue paddles allow users to switch between dual-clutch and hand-operated brake and throttle modes, enabling players to drive without using pedals.
In terms of inputs, the wheel features nine buttons, two 2-way toggle switches and two 12-position switches. A seven-way ‘FunkySwitch’ provides easy access to the Fanatec Tuning Menu for adjusting settings.
Compatible with all Fanatec direct drive wheelbases, the CSL Steering Wheel GT3 is available to order on Fanatec’s official website for €199.95 EUR, with orders expected to start shipping between 20th and 23rd October.
Although officially licensed for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, the CSL Steering Wheel GT3 is compatible with PlayStation consoles when paired with a compatible wheelbase, such as the Gran Turismo DD Pro, as well as PC.
