Fast Fusion gets a photo mode in new update

Virtual photographers rejoice: Fast Fusion finally has a photo mode.

Fast Fusion gets a photo mode in new update

Fast Fusion, the Switch 2 exclusive futuristic racer from Shin’en Multimedia, has received a free update adding a long-requested photo mode. Included in update 1.4, the photo mode is activated by pressing the minus button on the controller.

Once activated, you can freely move the camera around and adjust the angle, zoom and focus to capture the perfect shot. Artistic frame effects can also be applied. Alongside the photo mode, the update also contains a handful of bug fixes.

This marks the second update for Fast Fusion following the ‘Pure’ update released last month, which added three tracks from Fast RMX in a new ‘Carpium Cup’ along with a new ‘Pure’ graphics mode that disables image upscaling for cleaner picture quality.

A sequel to Fast RMX, Fast Fusion is one of several racing games that launched alongside the Switch 2 console, including Mario Kart World and an arcade port of the original Ridge Racer.

The sequel introduces the ability to fuse different ships together to create unique designs and boost stats, as well as a jump mechanic for finding shortcuts, combined with the blisteringly fast futuristic racing the series is renowned for.
