Tying in with ‘Season 4’ of in-game challenges and a free-to-play weekend, there will be a free new livery design within EA SPORTS F1 24.
Unlike the McLaren Chrome livery, which you can unlock by completing an Oscar Piastri-themed event, this new paint scheme is not based on a real-world style.
Instead, it has been created by artist Lefty Out There, inspired by 2024 champion-in-waiting Max Verstappen.
The design features the word ‘champions’ in a bold font over the rear wing, a mix of blues and patterns (‘polymorphs’) across the main body and a Dutch flag adorning the flanks with icons representing the driver’s three world titles.
To access the new look, which can be applied to an F1 World car, simply boot the game and check your emails between 21st November and 6th January 2025.
Season 4 and Free Weekend inbound
The free design is part of the festivities surrounding the latest tasks, which include the aforementioned Piastri-themed Pro Challenge, a Lewis Hamilton Pro Challenge Career and fresh race scenarios.
It follows a 1.14 game update which included a visual uplift on all platforms, plus recent dedicated PS5 Pro features.
For those who do not currently own F1 24, it will be free to play on all platforms between 21st and 25th November 2024, with a double XP boost and 60% off the retail price should you decide to purchase.
“We want everyone to jump into the cockpit and experience the edge-of-your-seat excitement of being an F1 driver during this free-to-play weekend,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director for the game.
