Gomez Sim Industries (GSI) has revealed its latest product at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt: the X-29+ sim steering wheel.

GSI is well known for producing professional-grade sim racing peripherals from high-quality materials, and the X-29+ is set to offer a more premium alternative to the firm’s original X-29.

More Equipment stories

GSI considered the X-29 its entry-level option at launch just over three years ago, and the X-29+ will carry that mantle forward with a few notable technological improvements, including six ball-bearing-equipped paddles borrowed from its recent Artemis steering wheel.

The X-29+’s buttons also feature a unique three-piece mechanism with a metal domed actuator, offering what GSI describes as ‘extreme tactile feedback, with the new wheel featuring LED-backlit rotary knobs, rev lights and TC and ABS indicators.’

Pricing and release-window details have yet to be revealed, but the X-29+ will be available to try at the GSI booth at this weekend’s SimRacing Expo Frankfurt.
