Rennsport’s upcoming Hypercar Expansion Pack was announced last week at the SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, but one crucial detail was missing: a release date. However, it turns out it’s coming sooner than expected.
Rennsport has announced that its new Hypercar-themed expansion will arrive as soon as tomorrow, 23rd October. It will cost €11.99 without factoring online store discounts.
Set to release at 10:00 CEST tomorrow, the expansion will feature four prototype Hypercars from the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA SportsCar Championship.
These include the Lamborghini SC63, Genesis GMR-001, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH and Toyota TR010. Notably, this marks the TR010’s first appearance in a sim racing title outside of Le Mans Ultimate.

Alongside these new cars, Rennsport’s previous Hypercars will receive an updated tyre model, along with balancing tweaks to their engine power, aerodynamics and setup.
Coinciding with the DLC, a free patch update will launch at the same time, bringing several improvements. Chiefly, the visuals for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will be enhanced with improved anti-aliasing that reduces visible shimmering and updated lighting.
Additionally, custom multiplayer grids will increase to 24 players across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in response to player feedback, while online races can now last up to an hour. The update also adds SimHub support for the PC version, allowing telemetry data to be displayed on wheel screens.
