Rennsport recently confirmed that its next content pack will fill up existing classes, and following a glimpse of the Genesis GMR-001, that certainly seems to be accurate.

It follows yesterday’s Lamborghini SC63 teaser, the two LDMh machines used in the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA SportsCar Championship (as a GTP).

While the Lamborghini has since been retired, the Genesis (Hyundai’s luxury brand) is new for the 2026 season. It uses a V8 engine that is effectively two WRC engines stuck together. It was expected to debut in IMSA next season, although this has been pushed back.

Rennsport would be only the second sim racing title to feature the Korean machine, and as it stands, the first driving game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

It is expected that the full lineup for the next content pack will be confirmed at the SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, running between 16th and 18th October 2026. There, details of the next game update are also expected, alongside the final of the R1 esports competition.
