Three cars will be added to Gran Turismo 7 next week, likely on Thursday, 29th January 2026.
Series Producer Kazunori Yamauchi posted to social media, “Update coming next week” alongside an image of three cloaked cars.
Here are what we think they are for PlayStation 4 and 5 drivers…
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

Announced at the Gran Turismo World Series event in London, June 2025, since then, the Chinese super saloon has set a new record for executive cars around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
It’s electric. It has a staggering 1500hp. And it seemingly can handle the world’s most challenging race circuit to boot.
It will also mark the first Chinese brand from China in Gran Turismo 7 – the Polestar 5 is already in the game and is produced in the East Asian nation.
There is also set to be a Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo model, although this is yet to be fully unveiled and won’t make this update.

Hyundai Elantra N TCR

Another new car for this update that was confirmed at a Gran Turismo World Series event, this time, December 2025’s World Finals in Fukuoka.
This is a full race-spec version of Hyundai’s hot saloon, with a 2-litre turbocharged engine, stripped out interior and motorsport suspension. It marks the first official TCR car for the game, and we expect it to be in Gr.4.

Porsche 911 GT3 R

The final of the trio is less certain. The Xiaomi and Hyundai are certain and announced at the aforementioned events. This one hasn’t been.
The front end design is certainly a Porsche 911. The large rear wing could be the road-going GT3 RS 992, but that’s already in the game and seems even bigger.
In Gr.3 presently, the 911 is hopelessly out of date, so we suspect this is the more recent 911 GT3, which would sit alongside the Spec III-added Ferrari 296 GT3.
Sport Mode players have long been lambasting the lack of current-day race cars, and this update should include not one, but two.
