Xiaomi, the idiosyncratic Chinese corporation that creates everything from vacuum cleaners to sunglasses, will appear in Gran Turismo 7.
Its first car, the SU7 – a sleek, electric sports saloon – sold 200,000 units in its first year on sale. The model for the Gran Turismo game will be the 1548hp Ultra, a derivation of which (with Prodrive’s help) recently set a lap time of 6:46.874 around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The road-going model can cover 0-100km/h sprint in a scant 1.98s thanks to its three electric motors. It’s stopped by a combination of Akebono brake calipers and Endless brake pads.
The announcement was teased earlier this week, and then confirmed at the Gran Turismo World Series competitive event in London today – 7th June 2025.
It will be joined, at some point, by a new Xiaomi Vision GT concept car too – but only a shadowy teaser has so far been shown, with no technical details.

It comes as the competition will also be broadcast for the first time in Mandarin. Gran Turismo 7 is not yet on sale within China, but this looks to be a strong hint that it could be soon.
There’s no word on the SU7’s game release date yet, or in-game footage,
