Fresh from including its SU7 Ultra in Gran Turismo 7 in January, Xiaomi has unveiled its first Vision Gran Turismo concept car.

The Chinese brand previewed the bold-looking hypercar at 2026’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, alongside a myriad of other products, including a mobile phone, smart watch and tablet.

The Xiaomi Vision GT is an all-electric vehicle which is said to offer incredible top speeds and downforce, using an active underfloor to channel air quickly to its rear diffuser. The concept is described as being ‘Xiaomi’s vision for the electric future’, presumably a future where we’re all driving impractical hypercars at the speed of sound. Sign me up.

In terms of technical wizardry, the car features an active wake control system that blows air outward from its rear to help tidy up its wake, essentially creating a low-pressure air pocket to improve top speed.

The Xiaomi’s two-seater cockpit is a cosy cocoon-shaped affair, which the company plans to use as a launchpad for a range of home simulators. Naturally, the car can communicate easily with all of Xiaomi’s smart products (if it weren’t just a concept, that is).

Ultimately, it’s unlikely the VGT will ever reach full production, but at the very least, it’s likely to be drivable in GT 7 at some point in the future.

If you want to take a closer look, the car will be on display at the MWC expo in Barcelona’s Fira Gran Via from today until the 5th of March.
