Gran Turismo 7 Spec III adds 20 engine swaps

A Formula 1 engine in a Toyota Supra? You better believe it…

Gran Turismo 7 Spec III adds 20 engine swaps

With each recent Gran Turismo 7 game update, there is a slew of new engine-swap combinations, whereby you can take one car and buy an engine for it designed for a different car.

It results in some wacky, off-the-wall creations. As Spec III is a significant update for the game, the list of new swap combinations is large: 21 in this instance.

Some of the highlights include adding the Bugatti Chiron’s quad-turbo W16 into several American muscle cars, between able to switch each of the fictional Gran Turismo single-seater engines between the two models and more power for two kei cars.

Gran Turismo 7 Supra GR Espace F1 engine swap

Perhaps the real headline is, however, being able to place the Renault Espace F1’s engine into other vehicles. This is a V10 Formula 1 unit, used by Williams, and it can now be added to either a Toyota Supra or Gr.4 Megane. Uttery lunacy.

But, such madness is also sometimes part of Gran Turismo 7’s appeal. The full list is below, which also includes two especially modified models for the Power Pack DLC. These can only be unlocked by purchasing and playing through this add-on, and we’ll update this list once we have done so.
