For the last two weeks, we’ve been replaying John Munro’s GRID Legends: Driven to Glory playthrough from his time live on the Traxion.GG Twitch channel. These videos have been condensed into highlights from the streams, and this week, it’s the finale of the three-part series.
It starts out this week just one race before Yume Tanaka’s big incident, which the story set up in the first episode. With Yume out of the seat due to a devastating injury, John has to take Driver 22 to new heights to qualify for The Gauntlet, GRID World Series’ championship format.
Ravenwest is doing Ravenwest things, in the sense that they are nearly impossible to beat. Driver 22 will be without a teammate during a good portion of the story with Yume sidelined. The challenges are tough, and John is just barely squeaking through. When Yume finally returns to the team, it’s absolutely heartwarming.
John is able to get through to the final episode of the story before the series ends. Seneca Racing, Ravenwest and Voltz have all qualified through The Gauntlet. However, just before the title race, Ravenwest’s other driver, Lara Carvalho has finally had enough of the Nathan McKane show. The ending may shock you!
