The official Probite eBRC competition is back for 2025
EA Sports WRC, WRC2 class cars, six rounds
Open to Motorsport UK Esports members
Winner receives rally passenger ride and trophy at the British Rally Championship Awards
Motorsport UK Esports has announced the return of the official Probite British Esports Rally Championship – this time with quicker cars and a new format.
Unlike last season’s competition, where the six rounds were spread across March to October, in 2025 the events will be held on back-to-back weeks, starting from Monday, 4th August.
Using the EA SPORTS WRC game (on any platform) and open to those with a Motorsport UK Esports membership, the winner will receive an eBRC trophy at the season-ending British Rally Championship Awards event, plus a rally passenger ride. Further prizes are set to be announced at a later date.
Each round will consist of seven stages, and the setup means no stage restarts – competitors have one attempt only.
Car selection has opened up for this season. 2024’s competition used the M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally3 exclusively. This time around, the quicker WRC2 class will be used, and any model in this category can be selected. Within the game, that means:
Citroën C3 Rally2
Ford Fiesta Rally2
Hyundai i20 N Rally2
ŠKODA Fabia Rally2 Evo
ŠKODA Fabia RS Rally2
Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 (Part of the 2024 Locations & Cars Content Pack DLC)
Volkswagen Polo GTI R5
Last year, Tommi Mäkinen won the title – no, not four-time real-world World Rally Champion Tommi Mäkinen.
