Say goodbye to Forza Street in April

Forza Street will cease to exist as of 11th April 2022, it has been announced. The news came today (14th March 2022) following word in January that the mobile racing game’s time was nearly up.

Created by Electric Square – the studio that recently created Apple Arcade exclusive Detonation Racing and recently assisted Battlefield 2042 – the tap drag racing title featured licenced vehicles and the ability to sign in to your Xbox Live account to earn Achievements.

Initially released in May 2018 for both Android and iOS, Forza Street’s last significant update was the ‘Porsche Showdown‘ last year. The initial closure was a vague ‘Spring 2022‘, but the Forza Support website today confirmed 11th April 2022 as its final day.

Forza Street is closing, iOS and Android

“Thank you for playing, and thank you for being part of the Forza community. We hope you’ve enjoyed the game to its fullest,” read the official statement.

In-app purchases stopped earlier this year and any unspent currency will no longer be available, nor the game playable, after the closure date.
