Also, engaging, as my better half will attest – she loves playing FuturLab’s PowerWash Simulator and it seems she’s not alone.

Published by Square Enix and added to the PlayStation Store earlier this year, over seven million players have now tried it. Interestingly, the player count has doubled in the last six months, and while any further specificity was absent, it’s clear the PS4 and PS5 versions must have significantly contributed to its success.

“With over 7 million players, we are honoured that so many people have found their zen with PowerWash Simulator,” said Co-CEO of FuturLab, Kirsty Rigden.

“The strength in our community is palpable. Since we launched into Early Access, the support for our soothing sim has been immense, and we are extremely grateful that this has continued to strengthen past release.”

The Hove-based UK studio, which formerly developed the underrated PSVR driving game Tiny Trax, has also appointed Steve Tinkler as its Chief Financial Officer following a stunt as CFO for Fall Guys creator Mediatonic.
