On Friday, 31st March, Formula Retro Racing: World Tour was released to the world on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 were also listed to receive the modern arcade racing game, but unfortunately, both PS versions of the title have been delayed.

The new date for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 release from Repixel8 (Andrew Jeffreys) and CGA Studio will be 21st April, but it is unclear as to why the delay has happened.

A sequel to Formula Retro Racing, originally solely from Repixel8 in 2020, Formula Retro Racing: World Tour adds even more low-poly, yet realistic arcade racing to the fold in this latest release.

In our Traxion.GG World Tour review, Tom said “Recently, we’ve been going back and playing some older arcade-style driving games on the original PlayStation, and in many ways, World Tour reminds us of these experiences, only with modern-day accoutrement.”: Our verdict was ‘Wishlist’.
